WebEx is a popular video conferencing platform that allows users to connect with others remotely. However, sometimes the background of your video can be distracting or even embarrassing. Fortunately, WebEx has a feature that allows you to blur your background during a call.
Step 1: Open WebEx
To start, open the WebEx application on your computer or mobile device. If you don’t have an account yet, you can create one for free.
Step 2: Join a Meeting
Once you’re logged in, join a meeting by clicking on the “Join” button and entering the meeting number or link provided by the host. You can also schedule your own meeting if you’re the host.
Step 3: Enable Background Blur
During the call, click on the three dots in the top right corner of the screen and select “Settings”. From there, scroll down to the “Video” section and check the box next to “Blur my video background”. This will blur your background during the call.
Step 4: Adjust Blur Level
If you want to adjust the level of blur, click on the three dots again and select “Settings” once more. From there, scroll down to the “Video” section and use the slider to adjust the blur level.
Step 5: Disable Background Blur
If you want to disable background blur, simply uncheck the box next to “Blur my video background” in the “Settings” menu.
By following these steps, you can easily blur your background during a WebEx call. This feature is especially useful if you’re working from home and don’t want to distract others with your messy room or if you’re in a public place and want to maintain your privacy.
