How To Share Google Slides

Google Slides is a dynamic, cloud-based presentation program that has started to gain a lot of popularity due to its accessibility and collaborative features. Step 1: Open Your Google Slides Presentation

First, you need to open the Google Slides presentation you want to share. You can do this by navigating to https://slides.google.com and selecting the presentation from the list, or by navigating directly to the presentation link if you have it.

Step 2: Click the “Share” Button

Once you’ve opened the presentation, look towards the top right corner of the page and you’ll see a button that says “Share”. Click on it.

Step 3: Set Your Sharing Preferences

A dialogue box will appear, giving you a variety of sharing options. You can enter specific email addresses to share the presentation with, or generate a sharable link. You can also set the access level to either ‘Can edit’, ‘Can comment’, or ‘Can view’. Make sure you select the preferred option before sharing.

Step 4: Share the Presentation

If you’ve chosen to share via email, click the “Send” button. If you’ve chosen to share via a link, click the “Copy link” button, and then paste the link wherever you would like to share it.

Sharing Google Slides Through Google Classroom

If you’re using Google Classroom, you can also share a Google Slides presentation directly through the platform. Here’s how:

        Step 1: Open your class in Google Classroom.
        Step 2: Click the Classwork tab and then click 'Create'.
        Step 3: In the dropdown menu, select 'Assignment'.
        Step 4: Fill in the details of the assignment. Under 'Add,' select 'Google Drive' and then select your Google Slides presentation.
        Step 5: Under the file, you'll see a dropdown menu where you can select the access level for students. Choose the appropriate option.
        Step 6: Click 'Assign'.
