Step 1: Select Your Text
The first step is to select the text box containing the text you want to justify. Click on the text box to select it.
Step 2: Open the Text Formatting Options
Once your text is selected, you’ll see a bar at the top of the Canva interface with different text editing options. This is where you can change the font, size, color, and alignment of your text.
Step 3: Justify Your Text
To justify your text, look for the ‘Alignment’ option in the editing bar. This option typically shows the current alignment of your text, such as left-aligned, right-aligned, or centered. Click on this option and a dropdown menu will appear with different alignment options. You can select the ‘Justify’ option to make your text align evenly along both the left and right margins.
Important Note
While Canva is a powerful tool with many formatting options, currently it does not support full justification of text in the same way as word processing software like Microsoft Word. When you choose the ‘Justify’ option in Canva, it will distribute your text evenly across the line, but it won’t stretch the words and spaces to fill the entire line width, leaving your text with a ragged edge on the right side.
