The ‘Collect Files’ Function

One of the easiest ways to locate missing files is by using the ‘Collect Files’ function in Adobe After Effects. Here is how to do it:

  1. Open the problematic project in Adobe After Effects.
  2. Go to the menu bar and click on File > Dependencies > Collect Files.
  3. In the Collect Files dialog box, choose the All option from the ‘Collect Source Files’ drop-down menu.
  4. Click on the Collect button and specify the location where you want to save the collected files.

Manually Relinking Missing Files
