For Android Users
If you’re an Android user, you’ll download Slack from the Google Play Store. Here’s how:
- Open the Google Play Store: Locate the colorful play store icon on your home screen or app drawer, and tap to open.
- Search for Slack: Use the search bar at the top of your screen, type “Slack”, then hit the search button.
- Download and Install Slack: Tap on the Slack app (it should be the first result with a multi-colored octothorp logo). Then click the green “Install” button. The app will now download and install on your Android device.
