How To Add Documents To Zoom

Zoom is a widely-used video conferencing tool that enables participants to share documents in meetings. We will guide you through the straightforward process of uploading documents to Zoom in the following steps.

Step 1: Open the Zoom App

To add documents to Zoom, you need to open the Zoom app on your device. Once you have opened the app, you can proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Start a Meeting

To share documents during a meeting, you need to start a meeting first. Click on the “New Meeting” button and select the option to start a meeting without video or audio. This will allow you to share your screen without being visible to other participants.

Step 3: Share Your Screen

Once you have started the meeting, click on the “Share Screen” button in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen. Select the option to share your entire desktop or a specific window, depending on what you want to share.

Step 4: Navigate to the Document

After sharing your screen, navigate to the document you want to share with other participants. You can do this by opening the file explorer or clicking on the icon of the document on your desktop.

Step 5: Select the Document

Once you have navigated to the document, select it by clicking on it with your mouse. This will highlight the document and make it visible to other participants in the meeting.

Step 6: Adjust the View

If necessary, adjust the view of the document by resizing or moving it within the Zoom window. You can also use the zoom feature to enlarge or reduce the size of the document for better visibility.

Step 7: End the Meeting

Once you have finished sharing the document, end the meeting by clicking on the “End Meeting” button in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen. This will disconnect all participants from the meeting and close the Zoom app.
