How To Zoom Back In On Google Slides

Ever found yourself working on a Google Slides presentation and suddenly you’ve zoomed out too far or too close, and you’re not sure how to re-adjust to a more suitable view? You’re not alone, and luckily, it’s a simple fix. In this blog post, we’ll guide you on how to zoom back in on Google Slides.

The Steps to Zoom Back In

Follow these steps to quickly and efficiently readjust your zoom on Google Slides:

  1. Open your Google Slides presentation.
  2. In the toolbar at the top of your screen, locate and click on the “View” option. It should be among the other options like File, Edit, Insert, etc.
  3. In the dropdown list, locate and click on “Zoom“.
  4. Another menu will appear, here you can select a preset zoom percentage or click on “Full Screen” to utilize your entire screen real estate.

If you prefer using keyboard shortcuts for efficiency, you can also zoom in or out using the following:

For Windows users:
To Zoom In: Ctrl + "+"
To Zoom Out: Ctrl + "-"

For Mac users:
To Zoom In: ⌘  + "+"
To Zoom Out: ⌘  + "-"

Please note that you need to hit the “+” or “-” keys while holding down the control (Ctrl) key on a Windows computer, or the command (⌘) key on a Mac.
