How To Take Notes In Slack

Formatting and Styling

When it comes to note-taking, formatting and styling can play a crucial role in readability and organization. Slack supports basic formatting options, such as bold, italics, and bullet points, which can help structure your notes and make them easier to scan.

To format your text in Slack, use the following symbols:

  • Use asterisks (*) around a word or phrase to make it bold.
  • Use underscores (_) around a word or phrase to make it italicized.
  • Use hyphens (-) or plus signs (+) at the beginning of a line to create bullet points.
