How To Number Pages In Google Slides

Google Slides presentation isn’t too difficultpresentations, but one feature that often stumps users is how to add page numbers to their slides. Unfortunately, Google Slides doesn’t offer an automatic page numbering feature like other office software. However, with a simple workaround, you can manually add page numbers to your Google Slides presentation. In this blog post, you’ll learn how to number pages in Google Slides.

Step 1: Open Your Google Slides Presentation

The first thing you need to do is open the Google Slides presentation where you want to add page numbers. You can do this by visiting the Google Slides website, clicking the “File” menu, and then selecting the “Open” option.

Step 2: Create a Text Box

Next, you’ll need to create a text box in the position where you’d like your page number to appear. This is usually on the bottom right hand corner of the slide. To do this, click on the “Text box” icon on the toolbar at the top of your screen and click and drag your mouse to create a text box.

Step 3: Insert Page Numbers

Now, you’ll need to manually enter the page numbers. Click inside the text box you’ve just created and type the page number. Repeat this process for each slide in your presentation. Remember, Google Slides does not automatically update the page numbers if you add, remove, or rearrange slides. So, you’ll need to manually update the page numbers whenever you make changes to your slides.
