Step 1: Setting up in Figma
The first step is to open up Figma and create a new project. After creating your project, you’ll need to set up your workspace. Figma provides a range of shapes and tools on the left-hand side of the screen. The primary ones you’ll be using for wireframing are the frame and shape tools.
Step 2: Creating a Frame
To create a frame, click on the frame tool (or press F on your keyboard), then select the device frame that you wish to design for. You can choose from a wide range of devices – from desktop to mobile.
Step 3: Adding Elements
Once your frame is set, it’s time to start adding elements. The shape tools allow you to add rectangles, circles, and lines, among other shapes. For example, to add a rectangle, click on the rectangle tool (or press R on your keyboard) and then draw it onto your frame.
