With Facebook’s recent introduction of its reel feature, many people are excited to try it out, but might not be exactly sure how to do it. In today’s blog post, we’re going to provide a step-by-step guide on how to make a reel on Facebook.
Step 1: Open Facebook
Open your Facebook app on your mobile device. Please note that this feature is currently only available on mobile.
Step 2: Access the “Reel” option
Click on the “Add to” button, located on the left side of the Story button at the top of the screen.
Step 3: Choose “Reel”
On the next screen, you will see four options: Live, Photo, Video, and Reel. Choose Reel.
Step 4: Create Your Reel
Now you’re ready to create your Reel. There are several tools you can use to edit your Reel:
- Audio: This option allows you to add music or audio clips to your Reel.
- AR Effects: Augmented reality effects can be added to your Reel for a fun and interactive experience.
- Timer and Countdown: This option allows you to set a timer for your Reel, providing a countdown before your recording starts.
- Align: This feature assists with seamless transitions in your Reel by lining up objects from your previous clip before recording your next one.
- Speed: Using this tool, you can speed up or slow down part of the video or audio you selected.
Step 5: Share Your Reel
Once you are happy with your Reel, click on the Share To option. You can choose to share it to your story, your news feed, or directly to a friend via a message. You also have the option to save your Reel to your drafts and share it at a later time.
