Step 7: Configure POP Server and Port
In the next window, you will need to configure the POP Server and Port. For Live.com, these should be set as follows:
POP Server: pop-mail.outlook.com Port: 995
Also, make sure that the option “Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving mail” is checked. Then, click on Add Account.
Step 8: Send Mail As
After successfully adding your Live.com account, Gmail will ask if you want to be able to “send mail as” your Live.com account. If you want this feature, follow the instructions on the screen to complete the setup.
