Instagram Reels, a new way to create, discover, and share 15-second video clips to music on Instagram, has taken the social media world by storm. Step 1: Open Instagram Reels
To start creating your Reel, you’ll first need to go to the Instagram camera. From your Instagram home page, tap on the camera icon in the upper left corner. Once you’ve opened the camera, select “Reels” at the bottom of the screen.
Step 2: Choose Your Audio
Sounds are a crucial part of Instagram Reels. To add music, tap on the music note icon, then you can search for a song from Instagram’s music library. Select the part of the song you want to feature in your 15-second clip. If you prefer, you can also record a reel with your own original audio.
Step 3: Set Your Video Speed
Instagram Reels allows you to control the speed of your video. You can make it slower or faster depending on your preference. To adjust the speed, tap on the play icon that can be found on the left side of your screen.
Step 4: Apply Effects and Filters
You can add a variety of fun effects to your Reel. Tap on the smiley face icon to see the assortment of effects. You can swipe right to browse through effects and choose the one you like.
Step 5: Record Your Reel
Once you’ve set up your audio, speed, and effects, it’s time to record your Reel. Hold down the center button at the bottom of the screen to begin recording. You can record your reel all at once, or in a series of clips.
Step 6: Share Your Reel
After you’re satisfied with your recording, it’s time to share your masterpiece. You can add captions and hashtags, and choose where you want to share your reel. When you’re ready, tap Share to Reels. If you want to save it as a draft and post it later, tap on the Save as Draft button.
