How To Add Your Own Audio To Canva

If you’re like many creatives out there, you’ve likely been using Canva to design stunning graphics, cool presentations, and unique social media posts. Canva has made design simple and accessible for all, but did you know that you can also add your own audio clips to your Canva creations? This feature is especially handy for creating engaging multimedia presentations or enhanced social media posts. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the process of adding your own audio to Canva.

Step 1: Login to your Canva account

Begin by logging into your Canva account. If you do not already have an account, you can create one for free by visiting https://www.canva.com and clicking on the “Sign up” button.

Step 2: Open or Create a New Design

Once you’ve logged into your account, either open an existing design or create a new one by clicking on the “+ Create a design” button on the top right of your dashboard.

Step 3: Upload Your Audio File

To upload your own audio file, navigate to the left-hand menu on your design page and click on the “More” button.

Scroll down until you see the “Audio” option. Click on it, and then click on the “Uploads” button at the top of the panel that opens. Here, you’ll find the “Upload media” button which will allow you to select and upload your desired audio file.

Step 4: Add Your Audio to Your Design

Once your audio file has been uploaded, adding it to your design is as simple as clicking on the file. It will automatically be added to your design and you can adjust the audio settings, including the volume and the portion of the audio clip you want to include, in the editing panel that appears.

Step 5: Save and Share Your Design

Once you’re happy with your design and audio, simply click on the “Download” or “Share” button at the top right corner of your screen to save your design or share it directly from Canva.
