Canva is a popular online design tool that allows users to create stunning graphics, documents, presentations, and other visual content. Step 1: Open Canva
Your first step is to open your Canva account. If you don’t have an account, head over to www.canva.com and sign up for a free account. Once you’re logged in, navigate to the Canva dashboard.
Step 2: Start a New Design
Click on the “Create a Design” button on the top right corner of your dashboard. From the dropdown menu, you can choose to use custom dimensions or select from a variety of pre-set templates. For this tutorial, we will use a social media post template.
Step 3: Add Video
To add a video, click on the “Elements” tab on the left-hand side of your screen. This will open a dropdown menu. Click on the “Videos” option. This will open the video library, where you can choose from thousands of free videos or upload your own.
To Upload Your Own Video:
Select the “Uploads” option from the left-hand side menu. Click on the “Upload an image or video” button and select the video file from your device. Wait for the video to upload.
Step 4: Insert Video to Your Design
Once you’ve chosen a video, simply drag and drop it onto your design. You can resize and reposition the video as needed.
Note: The video’s duration cannot be longer than the page’s duration which is 5 minutes maximum.
Step 5: Editing the Video
Canva also allows you to edit your video directly within the platform. Click on the video in your design to open up the editing options. You can trim the video, apply filters, and adjust parameters such as brightness, contrast, and saturation.
Step 6: Download Your Design
Once you’re happy with your design, just hit the “Download” button on the top right corner. Select the preferred file type and click the “Download” button. Your design is now ready to be shared!
