Canva’s design platform empowers you to create stunning visuals for your brand or personal projects. One of the many benefits of using Canva is the ability to use and add different fonts. In this blog post, we will walk you through a step-by-step guide on how to add fonts in Canva.
Step 1: Access Canva’s Font Library
To start, you need to access Canva’s font library. When creating a new design, click on the Text tab on the left-side toolbar. This will open a dropdown menu where you can select Add a new font.
Step 2: Upload Your Font
After clicking on Add a new font, a window will pop up allowing you to upload a new font from your device. Simply click on Upload a font, then find and select your font file.
Step 3: Use Your New Font
Once the font is uploaded, it will be available in your Canva font library. To use it, create or select a text box. Then click on the font dropdown menu and find your new font. Click on it to apply it to your text.
Please remember that the ability to upload fonts is only available to Canva Pro, Canva for Enterprise, Canva for Education, and Canva for Nonprofits users. For those using the free version of Canva, you can still access hundreds of fonts included in Canva’s library.
Adding and using your own fonts in Canva is a simple process that can greatly enhance your designs. Whether you want to strengthen your brand identity or simply try out a new look, fonts are a powerful tool at your disposal. Happy designing!
