but every time i try to remove some of components and make the iso file VLite closes frocefully on applying settings.i’ve tried with changing temp file even without any antispurm or any firewall. Now anyone, can u tell me how get out of this problem…

I don’t think that anytime upgrade is what you are looking for. Your PC came with basic or starter, and that disk is to get you to pay to get another version of vista. Once you put it in, you get locked into it, forcing you to buy a higher version of vista.

I just want to know how to make vista install apps like office, my antivirus, and such…

That’s what I’ve been trying to find out too. Where do most OEM’s put the Vista install files on the hard drive? With 9x and Me it was either in C:\Win95, Win98, WinMe or C:\Windows\Options\Cabs. With 2000 and XP it was usually C:\i386

I have picked up a 32bit Anytime Upgrade DVD, so that should work with vLite, but I still want to know WTH the files are on my laptop.

But what I really need to know is — Where are the Vista Installation Files? Should I have a CD that came with the machine? Are they in some folder?
