remember folders are relative to position on the ftp server. So if you are linking to an image from a lower level you will need to make it ../images/imagename.jpg
The .. will bring you up one level if it is two levels up in the folder hierachy you will need to go ../../images/imagename.jpg and so fourth. Hope that helps.

Hello everyone. i’m new to this forum and i’m in serious need of some php help. i’m building a site with a search engine. i got the search to work but i want the user to be able to search base on the Table selected from a drop menu…..instead of having multiple search for each table…… dreamweaver is not helping me much on this issue, maybe someone can. any help would be much appreciated.

I have used this approach for several years no. The main difference is that I use Smarty to create all of the display related content.

Each template includes the header and footer templates as well as a content header div. This makes things really quick and simple.

Each php page assigns a couple of variables such as the page title, wether or not to add the menu bar and wether or not to add the administrative menu functions based on the current login.

I also use the XAJAX framework, jQuery and jQueryUI, exsql doe mysql access and the Rainforest calendar control.

Unfortunately all you can see of my website is the front login page and a couple of non-secured pages for answering queries.

I prefer our approach to the megalithic frameworks.

Ah yes, I got it going John. The relative path was incorrect. Strange, it only works on using include but not on the one line PHP template I found??

All is good, I’m happy to use the include . I was going nuts when I couldn’t figure it out to the point I started learning Smarty lol. Thank goodness, I can stick to normal PHP now.

Danny, I’ve never use recaptcha as I hate the user experience it provides (my opinion . What it looks like to me as that you are trying to do an include using the http protocol. Have you tried to use a relative path or a server variable instead? For security reason your server isn’t going to allow you to do remote includes. You can probably override that, but it’s not a good idea.

Great tutorial, but how do you add a recaptcha inside the content? I keep getting these errors:
