Hey all,

Awesome script, and I have a question.

How would I make the popover happen after a timed interval, let's say 20 seconds after the page loads, the popover automatically comes up after that 20 second time?

Thanks so much for your help!

Cheers,
Brian

Ok .. I now have a bump on my forehead from the frustration...

I have the form showing inside the pop-up and it sends mail. One good step.

However, I want the user to have the option to click on the popup and it hides (in the event that they don't wish to send an email) as well as the option to click on the submit button and then it hides.

I have tried various if/else statements that only freeze the operation entirely.

What would be really sweet is to have the pop-up change images to one that says email sent and then it fades out.

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for your time.

Just wanted to say thanks for the post John.
I have, so far, utilized it to use with an email form.
I am currently attempting to modify it so that my visitors can close the pop up by clicking on the pop-up or when clicking on the submit button. So far either or works just haven't nailed having both options working.
Guidance appreciated, unless I figure it out and then I'll post the option.
Thanks again. It's an awesome piece of code!

I'm really new at this and I was wondering if you wouldn't mind clarifying this a bit more for me please?

Here is the code I have, based on what I could decipher from above -

<a href="#t27" rel="nofollow"></a>

I want to click on a photo and have a larger version open. I have a div called t27 inside the #box div, as in your example above, then I've linked the thumbnail image to #t27. I'm sure it's not right, because it's not working, at least I can't preview it. I have installed jquery in the root, where my html files are located, but I'm still not sure what I'm missing.

Also, if I have numerous photos to link up, do I just put all the individual photo divs inside the box div, or do I need a separate box div to wrap around each photo div?

Thanks for any help, I'm trying to learn this and everything keeps pointing me back to your tutorial, but it's still a little greek to me.

There is a section in the code for $("div#box").click(function(event). That is what closes the div. So if you wanted to make a link to close the div call the link something like id="close" and then change the above code to be $("a#close").click(function(event). That should work out for you.
