I hope this helps some of you guys out. It can be a real pain to be searching all day and find I result that looks like it could be the solution. Only to be bombarded with requests for payment so that you can see the answers. I have gone through that a few times.

Don’t forget to switch back to the default user agent when you are not browsing experts exchange. Firefox can use all the help it can get when it comes to website collecting usage data based on your browser.

Nice! I don’t use Expert’s Exchange often enough to subscribe, but every once in a while it comes in handy except for the fact that you can’t view the answers to more than one question per day without subscribing. Thanks!

I found out a few weeks ago that If I click the normal google link and scroll WAY DOWN to the very bottom of the page past the blurred answers and adds, the full solutions are posted to the public on the same page. I don’t have the agent switcher installed.

  • I was told that they will let you view the answer 1 time per day. I don’t know if this is true or not. If it is then they probably just set a cookie. Blocking cookies from the site may work just as well.

All you have to do is click on the “cached” link under the search result and you can scroll down to see the entire conversation on their site. Just go cached like I do and save a load of time and effort.

Just use http://www.TheScripts.com instead. Many EE experts did move to that site after getting fed up with the blurring, badly handled flames, broken links and low quality “answers”.

  • I wonder if this is posible as this has been posted on 2007 year.

    Thanks for sharing

  • Actually, you don’t even need to use this technique. If you use Firefox I think you can just scroll to the bottom of the page to view the answer, they are in plain site. There will be a section that says you must register to see answers. Scroll down below that and you will see the answers.

  • Thanks for this tutorial – it was actually the comments section that got me what I needed. You guys remember when they didn’t have the hyphen in their name and everybody thought they were “ExpertSexChange.com?”
